Peggy Sue Motley

Peggy Sue Motley, 47, of Bowling Green died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 at the Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday at Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Pastor Bill Hobbs officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday (today) at the funeral home.

Peggy was born Jan. 30, 1970 in Mexico, the daughter of Billy Jo and Judy Ann Dowell White. She married William Eugene Motley Dec. 26, 1992. He survives.

Other survivors include her father, Billy Jo White of Vandalia; daughter, Tiffany Motley of Bowling Green; sisters, Libby Jones and husband, Kenny of Vandalia and Kathy Miller and husband, Scott of Vandalia; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Peggy grew up in Vandalia and graduated from Van-Far High School in 1988. She moved to Bowling Green in 1990, where she resided until her death. Peggy worked at Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia for 26 years as a dietary assistant. She loved babies and animals.

The most important thing in her life was her family. Peggy attended One Way Ministries as well as Elm Grove Baptist Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Curry, Phillip Curry, Patrick Moore, Dustin Betz, Alan Hurd, Davy Sherman and Trey Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Miller, Kenny Jones, Fred Liffick, Shaun Shade, Denny Curry, and Mike Schambach.
