CynDee Jones

CynDee Standley Jones, 57, of Bowling Green died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes in Bowling Green, with the Rev. Frank Welch officiating. Burial will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana.

Visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. CynDee’s request was that those in attendance wear purple.

She was born March 27, 1959, in Fairbanks, Alaska, the daughter of Sanford W. and Betty D. Caldwell Jones.

Survivors include sons, Nathan Lane and wife, Amanda of Park Rapids, Minn., Christopher Lane and wife, Alesia of Bowling Green, Joshua Lane and wife, Phillish of Cornell, Ill., and William Lane of Booneville; daughters, Trish Rowland of Farmington, Sarah Lane and Kevin McCarthy of Bowling Green and Caitlin Lane of Bowling Green; 27 grandchildren, Matthew Bruce, Bobby Bruce, Adam Crist, Lily Crist, Stormy Darby, Summer Darby, Elijah Neil, Devin McGlasson, Michael Foster, Joshua Lane, Konrad Lane , Eva Lane, Wyatt Lane, Preston Rickey, Parker Rickey, Brian Sheets, Kayden McCarthy, Rebecca Sheets, Ryder Sheets, Olivia McCarthy, Matthew McCarthy, Adalynn Lane, Hailen Bozarth, Sabastian Lane, Blake Haywood, Brooke Haywood and Harley Haywood; brothers, Edwin Jones of Fairbanks, Alaska, Richard Jones of Saranac Lake, N.Y., Myles Comeau of Salcha, Alaska, Roland Comeau of Delta, Utah and Patrick Comeau of Salcha, Alaska; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Sanford Jones, Wayne Jones and Sanford Comeau; sisters, Pamala Coleman and Jackie Patnode.

CynDee was born in Fairbanks, Alaska and moved to Bowling Green and lived there since 1998. She was a member of the Peno Baptist Church.

She was a former manager at Ayerco Truck Stop and was a teller for USBank for the last seven years. She was an Avon distributor and served as vice-president of the Bowling Green Library Board. CynDee enjoyed crocheting and crafts, but most of all she loved the Lord above all.

Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Lane, Joshua Lane, Michael Foster, Jim Becker, Chris Brokaw, Marc Eveland.

Memorials may be made to the Pike County Christian School.
