Linda Kay Trower

Services for Linda Kay Trower, 69, of Mexico, formerly of Vandalia were at noon, Friday at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Perry, with the Rev. Tom Graddy officiating. Burial was in Vandalia Cemetery.

Visitation was Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Trower died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born Aug. 19, 1947 in Pittsfield, Ill., the daughter of Edwin C. and Isabell Orrill Patterson.

Survivors include six daughters, Angela Brown, Michelle Niemeyer, and Shelly Carson, all of Mexico, Shawne Williams and Crystal of Jefferson City, Carla Haley and husband, Butch of Auxvasse, and Rachael Baker and husband, Paul of Centralia; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and her significant other, Larry Fish.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bill Patterson.

Linda moved to this area 34 years ago from Illinois. She was Christian by faith and a member of the NRA. She worked as a waitress at Nancy’s Place and enjoyed visiting with her customers.

She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends, especially around her kitchen table.

Pallbearers were her daughters. Honorary pallbearers were Paul Baker, Tyler Brown, Crystal Williams, Butch Haley, Dwayne Layman, Raymond Garrett, and Joseph Fish.
