Carolyn Touchette

Carolyn S. Orf Touchette, 63, of Belleville, Ill., formerly of Centreville, Ill., died Friday, March 17, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.

Funeral procession left at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday from Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, Ill., for a 10 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial at St. Henry Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., with Fr. Kenneth York officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.

Visitation was from 4-8 p.m., Monday at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, Ill.

She was born Oct. 24, 1953 in Louisiana, the daughter of Ezra and Marie Brown Orf. She was married to Joseph L. Touchette.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Carrie Lynn (Jennifer Goodwin) Touchette of Marion, Ill., Gregory Joseph Touchette of Belleville, Ill., and Bryon Joseph Touchette of Belleville, Ill.; her grandchildren, Justin Christopher Touchette and Joseph Thomas Touchette; and her siblings, Janice Robinson and husband, Phil of Bowling Green, Wanda Wilson of Bowling Green, and Danny Orf and wife, Carolyn of Bowling Green. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and Godchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Touchette; her parents, Ezra and Marie, nee Brown, Orf; her sister, Shirley Henderson; her brother, Larry Orf; and her brother-in-law, Gary Wilson.

Carolyn was a graduate of Bowling Green High School in Bowling Green, Mo. She was a member of Common Fields Water Board and the Cancer Society. She enjoyed her time on the family farm. She was a great mother who loved her children and grandchildren very much.

Memorial donations are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
