Mark V. Gray

Mark V. Gray, 60, of Kirksville, formerly of Clarksville, died Friday, March 24, 2017 at his home.

A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday at The Crossing in Kirksville.

He was born Nov. 19, 1956 in St. Louis to Dr. John and Margaret Vath Gray. He married Ellen Aucutt on dec. 14, 1991 in Kirksville. She survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Marella and Mindy Aucutt of Kirksville and Gail McGroder and husband, Mike of Montgomery, Texas; his parents, John and Marge Gray; three brothers, Joseph Gray and wife, JoAnn, David Gray and wife, penny, and Michael Gray and wife, Sandy; grandchildren, Ian, Jaz, Madsen, Brittanie, Erin, and Megan; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Ashley and Breanna; nieces, Laura and Taylor Gray, Kaelyn Dessena; nephews, Andy, David and Nicholas Gray and Matthew Dessena; along with many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Mark graduated from Clopton High School in 1975 and Northeast State University (now Truman University) in 1979. He was employed as assistant manager at Walgreen’s in Kirksville.
