Dillan Wain White

Dillan Wain White, 20, of Louisiana, died on Saturday, June 3 on the Mississippi River near the Clarksville Dam.

Dillan was born Feb. 23, 1997 in Quincy, Ill., the son of Lester Duane and Charity Sue Davis White.

He attended schools in Pleasant Hill, Ill., and in Louisiana and was employed as a logger by William Davis Logging, Inc. He loved hunting, fishing and demolition derbies.

Survivors include his mother, Charity Sue (Mike) Lesley of Louisiana, his father Lester Duane White and fiance Tammy Taylor of Pleasant Hill, a daughter Jaelynn Hall and her mother Chloe Hall of Louisiana, a sister Britney Singleton of Louisiana, two step-sisters Jamie (Corey) Anderson of Louisiana and Melissa Lesley and fiance Shane Calhoun of Frankford, five step-brothers Michael John (Robin) Lesley of Mexico, Charlie (Denise) Lesley of Lacey, Wash. Joe Lamberson of Pleasant Hill, Jakob Taylor of Pleasant Hill and Jeramie Taylor of Pleasant Hill, grandparents Butch and Cathy Davis of Rockport, Doss and Betty White of Pleasant Hill, Jean Lesley of Louisiana, Hank and Linda Lamberson of Ashburn, a great-grandmother Beverly Ehret of Senaca, Ill, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dillan was preceded in death by his step-brother, B.J. Carr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 11 a.m. at the Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill. The service will be conducted by Kenny Davis. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill is handling the arrangements.
