Jeremy H. Ross

Jeremy H. Ross, 44, of Elsberry died Monday, June 5, 2017 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.

Visitation for was from 1-5 p.m., Friday at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.

He was born Sept. 28, 1972 in Troy, he was the son of Howard Randall “Ranny” and Barbara May Hilton Ross.

Raised in the Elsberry area, he was a graduate of Elsberry High School. Jeremy was united in marriage on Nov. 17, 2001 at Star Hope Baptist Church near Elsberry to Christina Kaye Reed.

Jeremy was a farmer, graphic designer, real estate broker and insurance agent. He enjoyed commercial fishing, mushrooming, road trips and problem solving. Jeremy took great pride in selling fruits and vegetables to his loyal customers. He loved spending time with his grandkids and boating on the river.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Howard “Ranny” Ross.

Survivors include his wife, Christy Ross of Elsberry; one daughter, Aerial Nicole Ross of Elsberry; two stepdaughters, Kayla Kaye McNiff and husband, Steve, of Hermitage, and Kelsey Reed McNelly of O’Fallon; and three grandchildren, Emily Kaye and Abigail Delores McNiff and Jackson Wayne Javaux. Jeremy also leaves his mother, Barbara Ross of Elsberry; sister, Angie Jenkins and her husband, Jim, of Kansas City; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.
