Esther Jeanne Sarles

Esther Jeanne Sarles, 66, of Bowling Green died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at her home.

A memorial visitation was from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Sunday at Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green.

Jeanne was born Aug. 30, 1950 in Louisiana, the daughter of Virgil and Opal Day McDonald. On May 28, 1988 she married Roger Sarles in Huggins. He survives.

Other survivors include her mother, Opal Irene McDonald; a sister, Emma June McDonald Clemens and husband, Harvey of Ottawa, Ill.; children, Traci Irene Antrobus of Lake Mills, Wis., formerly of Ottawa, Ill., Richard B. Sarles and wife, Samantha of Carlsbad, Calif., and Arie Kathryn Antrobus-Overocker of Streator, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Jesse and Brooke Lurz, Chaz and Bradlei Antrobus, Megan Ellis, Jake Ryder Sarles, Madisyn and Jake; two great-grandchildren, Mason Beyer, Bentley Pilona-Morales; nephews, Izaiah Royce and Daniel James Veasy; nieces, Jodi Irene Clemens Triggs, Jennifer Marie Clemens Sweborg; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Arthur McDonald; sister, Elaine Janette McDonald of Mountain Grove.

Jeanne went to high school in Marseilles, Ill., and resided in Ottawa, Ill., for 35 years and lived in Bowling Green for the last 15 years.

She loved sewing, quilting, crafts, music, dancing and was on various bowling leagues.

Jeanne enjoyed bingo with her mother, quilting at home, hosting family reunions and Christmas gatherings and most of all spending time with her family.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
