Travis Thurman

Travis Lee Thurman, 41, of Louisiana died Monday, July 17, 2017 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday at the Kemper-Millard-Keim Family Funeral Chapel in Troy.

Friends will be received from noon-6 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

He was born Nov. 21, 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of the late Michael LaBrot, Pamela Sue Thurman Turner and Harold Turner. He was united in marriage to Jennifer M. Kindlesparger Burton on Feb. 15, 1997 in Louisiana.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Thurman of Louisiana; one son and one daughter, Brent Lee Thurman and significant other, Anita Lawson and Kaily Thurman, both of Louisiana; his mother, Pamela Sue Thurman Turner and husband Harold of Louisiana; maternal grandmother, Geneva Thurman of Louisiana; one brother and two sisters, Mike Turner and significant other, Lacey Tucker of Springfield, Paula Turner-Mason and husband Steve of Springfield, and Jennifer NienKamp and husband Dustin of Farmington: one grandson, Chase Thurman; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael LaBrot; and grandfather, Dallas Thurman.

Travis graduated from Louisiana High School in 1994. He worked as a sheetmetal worker from 1994-2014 and then worked as a UPS Driver. Travis was a member of Union Local #36, Teamster Union, St. Charles hog group and the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, boating, hunting and fishing with his family. Travis lived life to its fullest but especially loved his children, grandchild and family
