Blake Aaron Rogers

Blake Aaron Rogers, 33, of O’Fallon died Friday, Aug. 11, 2017 at his home.

Funeral services will be private.

Born May 1, 1984 in St. Charles, he was the son of Brett Alan Rogers and Dawn Lynn Slaughter.

Blake attended the Elsberry School District. He later received his GED thru St. Charles Community College. Blake served his country in the United States Army. He was a Denver Broncos fan. Blake loved shooting guns and all types of music, especially playing guitar.

He worked as a parts associate for Peterbuilt in Lake St. Louis.

Blake’s favorite times were spent taking his son, Shane, exploring the woods and creeks.

Blake was preceded in death by his father, Brett Rogers.

Survivors include his parents, Donnie and Lynn Hatcher of Warrenton; and one son, Shane Alexander Rogers of Wentzville. Blake also leaves his sisters, Sarah Benner and husband, David, of Warrenton, Katie Anielak and husband, Travis of St. Ann, and Brea Rogers of Elsberry; his brother, Brett Rogers, also of Elsberry; nieces, Rinna Anielak, Ally Downey and Charlotte Benner; grandparents, Donald and Virginia Slaughter and Donald and Betty Hatcher, all of Elsberry; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
