Dennis ‘Denny’ Lee Edwards

Dennis “Denny” Lee Edwards, 74, of Louisiana died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Denny was born July 12, 1943 in Louisiana. He was the son of Ruby and Mildred Edwards. On Nov. 23, 1982 he married Janet Ritchey Kinkade. She survives.

In 1961, Denny graduated from Louisiana High School. After graduation, he was employed by Kroger, Kas Potato Chip Company, and Hercules, where he later retired after 35 plus years. Denny was a 47 year member of Elks Lodge #791 where he was recognized as a past trustee and Elk member of the year in 2008. Denny was a 30 plus year member of the Louisiana Boat Club. He was also an avid fan of Nascar drivers Rusty Wallace and Jamie McMurry. Denny loved the Boise State Broncos.

Survivors include four daughters, Christina Marie Morgan and husband, Shawn of Hannibal, Delcie Ann Homan and significant other Mark Smith of Louisiana, Audra Lee Crow and significant other, Shane Henderson of Bowling Green, and Bridgette “Jenny” Juneen Worley and husband, Kyle of Bowling Green; two step-children, Mike Kinkade and wife, Hattie of Louisiana, Kimberly Dawn Reid and husband, Phillip of Bowling Green; 13 grandchildren, Megan and Nicholas Homan, Kelsey Ringhausen, Shelbie Crow, Kaleb and Kameron Worley, Taylor and Tylor Darnell, Kirsten and McKinley White, Emily Clemons, Bryson Kinkade, Madeline Miller, Braxton, Bailey, and Bethany Wallace, and Brock Reid; great- grandchildren, Aubri Rule, Tanner “Little Man” and Gaige “Big Boy” Quattrocchi, and Landon and Royce Clemons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Ruth Jane Suddarth, and Elizabeth Mott.

Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana is in charge of arrangements.
