Jesse Len Miller

Jesse Len Miller, 60, of Kansas City formerly of Bowling Green died Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at his home in Belton.

Funeral services were Saturday at 3 p.m., at Waters Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Gamm officiating. Interment was in Curryville Cemetery.

Visitation was Saturday from 1-3 p.m., at Waters Funeral Home in Vandalia.

He was born June 10, 1957 Bowling Green, the son of Howard S. and Lenora Maye Holcumbrink Miller.

Survivors include two sons: Creo E. Lee of Belton, and Terry W. Miller and friend, Elise Baanders, both of Kansas City; two daughters, Charlie Kay Lee of Stover, and Billie Jo Lee of Gravois Mills; one brother, Larry W. Miller of Curryville; three grandchildren, Brian James, Lucius James and Kaelyn Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Terry Lee Miller.

“Lenny” attended schools in Bowling Green and was a 1975 graduate of Bowling Green High School. He attended several trade schools and worked for several years in the late 1970’s in the oil fields. Lenny worked at Walmart and the Golden Beach Marina at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Since 1992 he was employed as a 5 Star Master Technician with Dent Wizard out of Kansas City. He recently retired due to health concerns. Lenny was a member of the NRA and MOPAR.

He enjoyed fishing, guns, and was a big NASCAR fan, attending music concerts in the area and spending time with his family.

Pallbearers were Jay Joe Boydston, Brendan Rhoten, Jeff Gatschet, Tyler Bebout, Bill Dean and Brian James.

Memorials are encouraged to the donor’s choice.
