Ima Jean Fockler

Ima Jean Fockler died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017 at Hannibal Regional Hospital at the age of 77.

She was born to Alfred and Ruby Simmons in Popular Bluff. At the age of three, they moved to St. Louis, which she called home. In 2005 she moved to Bowling Green to Moore-Pike Nursing Home, where she currently lived.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Ima Jean had two children William Fockler and Tammy Fockler Parker who survive. She also has grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ima Jean loved the St. Louis Cardinals, crocheting, attending church, playing bingo, Christmas time and spending time with friends and family.

She will be cremated by Bibb-Veach Funeral Home and the family will have a memorial service later near Hannibal.
