Warren Dale Kley

Warren Dale Kley, 75, of Clarksville died Friday, Dec. 15, 2017.

Visitation was Monday from 4-8 p.m., at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services were held Tuesday (today) at 10 a.m. Burial was in St. James Cemetery, Big Spring.

Warren was born in St. Louis on Oct. 31, 1942, a son of Leo Dale & Mildred Schmelz Kley.

Warren is survived by his mother, Mildred Kley of Big Spring; a son, Paul Kley and wife, Amie of Hermann; his special friend, Nancy Colbert of Clarksville; and her two children, Daniel Colbert and wife, Sara of Troy, and Laura Heiliger and husband, Adam, of Warrenton; by two sisters, Janet Kley and Jane Riley, both of New Florence; and four grandchildren, Ashley Kley, of Hermann, Kara Kley of Chamois, Sydney Paige Thurman of Troy, and Blake Heiliger of Warrenton.

Warren graduated Hermann High School in 1961. He then attended Washington University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1965.

He served in the Missouri Air National Guard from 1965-71. He worked for General Motors as a graphic designer for several years until retiring in 2009.

He is preceded in death by his father, a sister Mary Joan Jackson and a brother-in-law Keith Riley.

Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society, c/o Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
