Clarence “Gomer” Rousan

Clarence “Gomer” Rousan, 53, of Curryville died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 at Pike County Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday (today) at Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana.

Clarence was born June 14, 1964 in St. Louis, the son of Clarence Henry and Sylvia Louise Morris Miller.  He married Nellie Marie Lawson on Sept. 10, 1988 in Louisiana.  She survives.

Other survivors include children, Tammy Price of Louisiana, Gary Oliver Price and wife, Bobbie of Louisiana and Lisa Marie Allen and husband, C.T. of Louisiana; grandchildren, Amber David and husband, Joseph, Steven Price; Faith Henry; Makayla Hall; Chloe Hall; Russel Price and Dawna Price; great-grandchildren, Jaelynn Hall, Ayden David and Madison David; brothers Walter Miller and wife, Glynn, and Paul Rousan and wife, Kim; sisters, Janet Pilkington and Cathy Vallejo; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Debbie Rousan and a brother, Bill Rousan.

Clarence lived in Louisiana most of his life, graduating from Louisiana High School.  He spent the last 10 years living in the Curryville and Spencersburg area.

He was a member of Full Gospel Worship in Louisiana.  Clarence worked for Townsend Tree Service for 32 years and spent the last four months with Donaldson Excavating. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was loved by all.
