Edwin Robert Sippely
Edwin Robert Sippely, 79, of Bowling Green died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 at the Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Monday at Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
Visitation was from 9-11 a.m., Monday at the funeral home.
Edwin was born May 2, 1938, the son of Edna and Emery Throckmorton and was raised by grandmother, Cordie Sippely and uncle, Champ Sippely. He married Rosa Marie Scott Dec. 22, 1967 in Bowling Green.
Survivors include wife, Rosa Sippely of Bowling Green; daughters, Tammy Boots and husband, Walter of Louisiana, Susan Graver and husband, John of Bowling Green, and Brittanie Graver and husband, Rodney of Middletown, Leslie Lake of Bowling Green and Darla Niemeyer and husband, Troy of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Mahayla Boots, Shania Boots, Walter Boots, Josh Graver and wife, Abby, Justin Graver, Claire Graver, Caleb Graver, Morgan Graver, Megan Graver, Michael Hays, Lauren Benn, Braden Benn, Leila Niemeyer, Emma Niemeyer, Tyler Weeks and Peyton Woodhurst; great-grandchild, Weston Boots; brother, Karl Sippely and wife, Kathy; sisters-in-law, Judy Hanne, Ola Riley and husband, Tom, Gavaughna Patton and husband, Gary; brothers-in-law, Wayne Scott and wife, Pat, Kendall Scott, William Scott and wife, Karen and Jim Scott and wife, Sharon; numerous nieces, nephews and beloved dog Molly.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Lavern Throckmorton; grandmother, Cordie Sippely; uncle, Champ Sippely; in-laws, Jesse and Johanna Scott; brothers-in-law, Ernie Scott and Larry Hanne; sisters-in-law, Janice Scott, Kathy Scott and Ruth Madden; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ann and Dave Lake.
Edwin enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, camping and mushroom hunting. He enjoyed spending time at the coffee shop with his buddies and spending time his family, children and grandchildren.
He attended St. Clement Catholic Church.
Serving as pallbearers were Justin Graver, Josh Graver, Tyler Weeks, Walter Boots, Andrew Gaw and Cole Chrisman.
Memorials may be made to the St. Clement Cemetery Association or the Second Baptist Church Youth Ministry.
