Lloyd ‘Bud’ Pritchett

Lloyd “Bud” Pritchett, 85, Centralia died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at his home.

Private family services will be announced at a later date.

He was born Jan. 6, 1933 in Edgewood, the son of the late Leland and Restora Johnson Pritchett. He first was united in marriage to Wanda Umfleet who preceded him in death and later on Aug. 18, 2009 he was united in marriage to Pat Libby Buck.

In addition to his wife Pat of eight years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Mike Pritchett and wife, Lila of Jefferson City, and Ron Pritchett and wife, Kathy of Hallsville; one step-son, Lance Buck and wife, Sandy of Centralia; two step-daughters, Ivy Mozingo and husband, J.D. of Madison, and Vicki Shepherd and husband, Dennis of Moberly; one sister, Pat McElfresh of Lebanon; a sister-in-law, Anne Umfleet of Hannibal; four grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; four step-great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends.

In addition to his parents and first wife, one brother, Leland preceded him in death.

Lloyd served his country in the United States Navy from 1951-55. He worked for 33 years for C.E. Brick Plant near Vandalia, and later as a machinist for Décor in Montgomery City.

He enjoyed reading, working outdoors and spending time with his family.
