Douglas Lee Nickell

Douglas Lee Nickell, 54, of Louisiana died peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Susie Stroot, and her family which he was very close with, his daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Tyler Andrews; his parents, Allan and Henrietta Nickell; a brother, Mike Nickell and wife, Dori; a sister, Lisa Wittmer and husband, Jeff; three nephews and their children; and many friends.

Doug will be forever remembered and greatly missed. His big heart, sense of humor, and culinary abilities brought happiness to everyone that knew him. Doug love to fish, care for his animals, and to cook for many years.
