Shirley Jean Kuda

Shirley Jean Kuda, 69, of Laddonia died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018 at SSM St. Mary’s Audrain Hospital in Mexico.

Cremation rites were accorded under the direction of Bienhoff Funeral Homes.

Mrs. Kuda was born in Audrain County Dec. 3, 1948, the daughter of Charles K. and Eunice L. Kaufman Lynn. She married Albert Martin Kuda on May 8, 1968 in Mexico. He survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Albert Martin “Marty” Kuda Jr., and wife, Sara, Alan Dale Kuda, all of Laddonia; three brothers, Charles Lynn and wife, Jill of Martinsburg, Warren “Pete” Lynn and wife, Linda of Centralia, Bobby Lynn of Reform; three sisters, Charlotte Gibbs and Jody Todd, both of Benton City, and, Juanita Cope and husband, Tom of Martinsburg; two grandchildren, Slade Luna of Mexico and Bonnie Kuda of Laddonia; and one-great grandchild, Paisley Grace Wilson of Vandalia.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; and one brother, Darril Lynn.

Mrs. Kuda was a lifetime area resident and member of Laddonia Baptist Church. She graduated in 1966 from Community R-VI. She worked over 10 years at the shoe factory in Mexico and retired after over 17 years as a corrections officer for Cremer’s Theraputic Community Center in Fulton. She loved reading.
