Terry Dale Davis

Funeral services for Terry Dale Davis of Elsberry were held at 7 p.m., Wednesday at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.  Abby Hall of Smith Chapel near Elsberry officiated.

Visitation was from 5 p.m., until the time of funeral services at 7 p.m., Wednesday at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.

Mr. Davis, 75, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.

Born Nov. 5, 1942 in Louisiana,he was the son of Raymond Terry and Alberta Mae Skirvin Davis.  Terry was united in marriage on Sept. 27, 1962 in the New Hope Community near Elsberry to Rosemary Rotha LaBanca.

Survivors include two granddaughters, Katie Lynn Davis of St. Louis, and Teri Dale Huck and  husband, Zach of Columbia; and two great-grandsons, Omar and Lorenzo Davis.  Terry also leaves his brother-in-law, Paul LaBanca and wife, Kathy of Elsberry; sisters-in-law, Janet Lee and husband, Charles of Iowa and Audie Hensiek and hhusband, Ben of Troy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was employed by Galloway Bros. as a laborer.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Alberta Davis; a brother, Berry Davis; one son, Dale Wayne Davis; twin great-grandsons; and his beloved wife of 51 years, Rosemary Davis, who died Aug. 20, 2013.
