Ronald E. Haverich

Ronald E. Haverich, 67, of Clarksville died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Monday at Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with the Rev. Bill Patrick officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery in Bowling Green.

Visitation was from 4-8 p.m., Sunday at Bibb-Veach Funeral Home.

Ronald was born March 14, 1951, in Mexico, the son of Theodor W. and Alma L Witt Haverich.

Survivors include a son, Craig Haverich and wife, Micah of Owatonna, Minn.; three daughters, Elaine Gray and husband, Chris of Louisiana, Melinda Patrick and husband, Corey of rural Eolia, and Abigail Haverich of Perry; six grandchildren, Samantha and Austin Lagemann, Brendan and Jocelyn Gray, Memphis and Auron Haverich; one brother, Ted Haverich and wife, Francis of Columbia; three sisters, Doris Pease of Vandalia, Carol Keller of Farber, and Anita Meinert of Peoria, Ill.; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Donnie Lagemann.

Ronald was raised in Farber, lived in Bowling Green for five years, moved to the Eolia area, later moved to Odessa and finally settled in Paynesville.

He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Bowling Green and served in the United States Army.

Ronald served on the Eolia Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years and just finished a term for the Pike County Water Board. Ronald was a mechanic for the school and drove a school bus. After retirement he drove the Oats bus.

Serving as pallbearers were Todd Keller, Martin Keller, Austin Lagemann, Brendan Gray, Richie Rennecker and Jacob Rennecker. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy White, Larry Evans, John Haake, Bill Lagemann, Orval Gray and Marion Traynor.

Memorials may be made to Abby Haverich Educational Fund, c/o US Bank in Bowling Green.
