Donald Lee Ingram

Donald “Donnie” Lee Ingram, 62, of Vandalia died in Ralls County on a service call.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m., on Thursday at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center of Vandalia.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center of Vandalia.

Donald was born Oct. 13, 1955, in Louisiana, the son of William Vernon and Mary Jane Northern Ingram. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Tipton Oct. 19, 1973, in Farber. She survives.

Other survivors include, one son, Brian Lee Ingram and wife, Amanda of Vandalia; brothers, Ronald Wayne Ingram and wife, Maryanna of Saverton, John Murry Ingram and wife, Kim of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Kathleen, Madilyn, Taylor, Peyton, Mary, and Wyatt; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Suddarth of Vandalia, and Pati Ingram of Vandalia; brother-in-law, Michael Tipton and wife, Carol of Moberly; aunt, Sandra Darlene Ewing Stone of Vandalia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ingram was preceded in death by three brothers, William Arthur Ingram, David Michael Ingram and Thomas Patrick Ingram.

Donald owned and operated Don’s Auto & Ingram Wrecker in Vandalia for several years. He enjoyed helping his customers with their automobile and wrecker needs.

When not working, Don enjoyed working on and restoring old cars, watching NASCAR and NHRA races, or just a simple ride through the countryside on his motorcycle. Don was an avid pool player and was a member of the Missouri Eight Ball League for several years. When time allowed, Don enjoyed shooting pool in his man cave with his friends.

Don’s biggest love was his family, especially his grandchildren that he cherished every moment with.

Mr. Ingram was a Christian by faith.
