Martha Charlene Roberts Busch

Martha Charlene Roberts Busch, 73, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

She was born Nov. 17, 1944 in Vandalia, one of five daughters born to Raymond and Loretta Moore Roberts.

Martha Charlene graduated from Van-Far High School with the class of 1962. After she moved from Vandalia she worked as a flight attendant for Ozark Airlines and later in the travel industry.

In October 1972 she married Alyn Busch. Her and Alyn relocated to Cape Coral, Fla., in 1987.

Surviving are her husband, Alyn Busch; two step-daughters, Karen Pagano and husband, Phil and Lynn Busch, St. Louis; sisters, Rosetta Joyce Botts, Vandalia, Shirley Benz, Manchester, Linda Fern Grote, Bowling Green, Karen Riley and husband, George, Vandalia; nephews, Louis Botts, Kansas City, Mark Benz, St. Louis, and Justin Grote, Bowling Green; nieces, Christine Meyer, Troy and Cari Allen, St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers-in-law, Louis J. Botts and Philip Grote, and a nephew, Brian Keith Grote.
