Anthony ‘Tony’ Wayne Meyers

Anthony “Tony” Wayne Meyers, 57, died at his home in O’Fallon Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 surrounded by his family.

Funeral services were Saturday at 10 a.m., at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville. Interment will be privatye at a family cemetery.

Visitation was Friday from 4-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Tony was born March 4, 1961. He was the dear husband of Julie Kammer Meyers of O’Fallon; he was the loving father of his three daughters, Melissa VanNatta and husband, Keith of Kansas City, Samantha Meyers and Ryan Haake of O’Fallon, and Danielle Meyers of O’Fallon; loving grandfather “Papa” of Morgan, Makenzie, Kaden, Mya VanNatta and Kinsley and Owen Haake. He is also survived by his mother, Carol “Sue” Meyers; a brother, Timothy Meyers and wife, Kim of Troy; two sisters, Sharon Deters and husband, Randy of Bowling Green, Tammy Meyers of Warrenton; in-laws, Edward Kammer Sr. and Vernie Kammer. Tony was a dear uncle, great-uncle, nephew, cousin, son-in-law, brother-in-law, and a friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie J. Meyers.

Tony was a member of the Operating Engineers 513 and was employed by Kuesel Excavating.

He was an avid outdoorsman including hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
