Pam Williams

Pam Williams, 69, of Bowling Green died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 at the DePaul Hospital in Bridgetown surrounded by love.

Funeral services were at 5 p.m., Sunday at First Christian Church in Frankford with the Rev. Gail Aurand officiating.

Visitation was from 2-5 p.m., Sunday at the church.

A memorial graveside will be held at a later date in Grandview Cemetery.

Pam was born March 23, 1949 in Hannibal, the daughter of Dawson and Pauline Griffin Fisher. On Aug. 4, 1990 in Bowling Green she married Tom Williams. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents and cousin, Beverly Jane Andrews.

Pam was raised in Frankford and lived in Bowling Green most of her life. She graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1966, achieved her bachelors of science and education degree in 1971 and a master’s degree in education from the University of Missouri in 1976. Pam was a member in the Frankford Christian Church with an unwavering faith in God, the Eastern Star Organization, DAR and numerous organizations. Pam taught kindergarten for 31 years, was the pianist for her church and was an amazing cook. She was involved and helped anyone she could.

She loved crafting, quilting, sewing, scrapbooking, crocheting and was “Spunky”. Her most cherished possessions were her family, friends, and her church. She taught us to never give up, never stop learning or exploring.

Pam was a treasured gift and blessing to everyone she knew.

Serving as pallbearers were Brad Darnell, Scott Baumgartner, Brad Tennensen, Harry Benn, Elmo Shaw and Steve Spegal.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Frankford.
