Roger D. Cox

Roger D. Cox, 86, of Bowling Green died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Charles.
Roger requested to be cremated with no funeral services. he will be buried at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
He is survived by the love of his life, Barbara Childers; a son, Jason Million and wife, Cassy, although not biological, Roger thought of Jason as a grandson; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Mason and Henry Million. Also friends Jack Jones, Rob and Kim, and friends who worked with him at Chester Bross Construction.
Roger was born in Clay, Ohio to Nicodemis and Bessie Cox on June 19, 2032. He graduated from Clay High School. He met the love of his life, Barbara Childers in 1993. He worked as a pipeliner, plant work for five years and at the coal mine for 10 years in Ohio. He was a member of Local 18 Operating Engineers for over 50 years in Ohio. He was a veteran of the Korean War in the 5th Regimental Combat Team as a front line radio man. He was involved in Masonic Trowel Lodge No. 132, Knights Templar No. 53 in Jackson, Ohio. Also Shriners & VFW, Hannibal.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Nicodemic and Bessie Cox, two brothers, Donald Cox and Ronald Cox, sisters, Blanche Marsh and Mavis Collilns.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
