Donald Goddard Sr.

Donald R. Goddard, Sr., 78, of Millstadt, Ill,, born March 10, 1940 in East St. Louis, Ill., died Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m., at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, Ill., with Pastor Hal Santos officiating. Interment was in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Visitation was held Monday, Jan. 14, 2019 from 4-8 p.m., at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd. Fairview Heights, Ill.
Donald is survived by his children, Margo D. Krick of Cape Girardeau, and Donald R. Goddard, Jr. of Bowling Green; his loving companion, Sarah Strong; his eight grandchildren, Joseph Goddard and wife, Jessica of Fenton, Emily Smith of Bowling Green, Kenny Goddard of Springfield, David Goddard of Bowling Green, Angela Goddard of Bowling Green, Teresa Goddard of Bowling Green, Mary Beth Goddard of Bowling Green, and Willie Krick; five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Brianna, Stephen, Abby and Chevy; and a sister, Norma Jean Goddard.
Donald was a carpenter and co-owner of Klotz & Goddard Construction Company for 25 years. He was a 50 year member of Carpenters Local #169 in East. St. Louis, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Veda E. Goddard; his parents, Joseph and Myrtle Mae Goddard; and his three brothers, Bill, Jim and Jack Goddard.
