Maudean Ruebling Lee

Maudean Lee, 67, of Troy died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019 at Progress West Hospital.
Funeral service was Saturday at 10 a.m., at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory in Troy with the Rev. Richie Rhea officiating. Interment followed in Troy City Cemetery.
Visitation was Friday from 5-9 p.m., at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory in Troy.
She was born Oct. 7, 1951 in St. Louis to Ralph and Ruth Crouch Ruebling.
Maudean attended the local schools along with her two siblings. She obtained her master’s degree in teaching from Central Missouri State University. Her first job was working at Vandalia School District and then later at Crocker School District. Maudean worked for 23 years at the Lincoln County R-III School District as a counselor, until her retirement.
Maudean and Don were married on Nov. 23, 1996 at First Baptist Church in Troy. She loved music , especially southern gospel. She was talented at crafting, playing piano and loved traveling. Don and Maudean enjoyed eagle watching together and attending St. Louis Cardinal baseball games.
She is survived by her husband, Don Lee of Troy; step-children, Jill Rios and husband, Steve of St. Louis, Jamie Lee of Bridgeton, Bret Lee of Denton, Texas; step-grandchildren, Tyson, Anna, Ivana, Breonna, Aseeyah, step-great- grandchildren, Aiden and Stella; brother, Norman Ruebling and wife, Connie of Columbia; a sister, Vitula Renee Skillman and husband, Charles of Wentzville; nieces and nephews, Jason Skillman, Corey Skillman, Andrea Lasater, Keegan Ruebling, McKenzie Ballou; great-grand-nieces and nephews, Alex Skillman, Nathan Skillman, Logan Skillman, Audrey Skillman, Remington Lasater, Wesley Lasater; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Serving as pallbearers were Steve Rosenthal, Dan Rosenthal, Jay Stockham, Dale Kelley, Jim Reeds, Charlie Smith
