Alice L. Randolph

Alice L. Randolph, 89, of Louisiana, formerly of St. Charles, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Monday at Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Glen Hickerson officiated, assisted by Eva Sheppard. Burial will be at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in St. Charles.
Visitation was from 9:30 a.m., until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Alice was born Nov. 9, 1929 in Dixon to Ralph Luther and Mary Elizabeth Davis Shackelford. She was married to Eddie Randolph on May 29, 1948 in Salem, Ark. He preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 2002.
She is survived by six daughters, Judy Gilbreath and husband, Murle of Summers, Ark., Barbara Rice and husband, Gene of Chula Vista, Calif., Deborah Singleton of St. Charles, Jo Hager and husband, David of Louisiana, Sherry Randolph of St. Charles, and Pam Klein and husband, Jerry of Bastrop, Texas; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Vivian George of Joplin; and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, a brother, Luther Shackelford, a grandson, Michael Hager, a son-in-law, John Singleton, and a brother-in-law, Raymond Junior George.
Alice was a graduate of Dixon High School with the class of 1948. She attended the Calvary Gospel Church in Summer Hill, Ill. She enjoyed traveling, going out to eat, and shopping.
