Larry Dean Jolley

Services for Larry Dean Jolley, 76, of Vandalia will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Laddonia with the Rev. Jamie Franke officiating. Burial will be in Laddonia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Jolley died Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
He was born March 5, 1943 in Louisiana, the son of Mervin Dean and Margaret Ann Ploesser Jolley. Following his father’s death, he was raised by his step-father, Andy Golian. He married Helen Irene York in Paynesville on Jan. 26, 1963. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Shelia Martin and husband, Bobby of Laddonia and Tina Jolley of Moberly; one brother, Gerald “Gary” Jolley and wife, Sharon of Clever; two sisters, Carol Harrison and husband, Marty of Mexico and Ann Cook and husband, Richard of Farber; five grandchildren, Kyle Rutherford of Quincy, Ill., Erica Wallace of Moberly, Aaron Rutherford of Moberly, Austin Layman of Linn and Brandon Martin of Moscow Mills; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Jolley was a lifetime area resident and Christian by faith. He worked as a carpenter for Central Bridge and Bross Construction for over 20 years and retired in 2003. He enjoyed yard sales, flea markets and auctions, antiquing, fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting.
Pallbearers were Richard Cook, Paul McDowell, Kyle Rutherford, Aaron Rutherford, Austin Layman and Bobby Martin.
