Richard Carroll See

A memorial visitation for Richard Carroll See, 70, of Vandalia was held from 9-11 a.m., Saturday at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Vandalia.

Mr. See died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019 at SSM St. Mary’s Audrain Hospital in Mexico.

He was born June 23, 1949 in Audrain County, the son of Ezra Lee and Ilene Francis Meyers See. He was married to Teresa Mouser and then on April 4, 1994 he married Virginia Kisor Campbell in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Kevin Campbell and wife, Tracie of Spring Hill, Kan., and Kyle Camp-bell and wife, Sonya of Perry; four daughters, Krystal DeTienne and husband, Tracy of Vandalia, Michelle Nickle of Vandalia, Christina Cason of Vandalia, and Kimberly Miller; one brother, Ralph See and wife, Sharon of Troy; one sister, Sherrie McCurdy of Center; one sister-in-law, Cindy See of Camdenton; 15 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond See, one sister, Ann Conrad, two brothers-in-law, Charles McCurdy and George Con-rad and one grandchild, Lexie Nickle.

Richard was a lifetime area resident and Christian by faith. He was a 1969 graduate of Van-Far High School. He worked in maintenance at Harbison-Walker Refractories for 38 years.

He was a member of the Local 853 Steel Workers Union, NRA and former member of Tri County Saddle Club.

Richard enjoyed horses, camping, fishing and Fords.

Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren.
