Gayle Norene Krueger

Gayle Norene Krueger, 71, of Tebbetts, died at her home on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018.

Visitation was held 1-3 p.m., at Freeman Mortuary on Monday with a Celebration of Life Service that immediately followed in the Freeman Chapel with the Rev. Beau Underwood officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at Riverview Cemetery.

Gayle was born Nov. 30, 1946 in Pacific the oldest daughter Thomas Logan and Freda Louise Ruble Spradling, who preceded her in death.

Gayle was a 1964 graduate of Van-Far High School. She was an early President of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Credit Union in Jefferson City. She served as the executive director of the Missouri League of Nursing Home Administrators between 1985 and 1996. As a licensed nursing home administrator she spent subsequent years in a management capacity for an assisted living company – Lifecare LLC. She concluded her employment years with the Farmer Companies of Jefferson City.

Gayle is survived by her husband of 20 years, Keith Krueger. She is also survived by three daughters: Susan Savic of Fairway, Kan., Amy Sprenger and husband, Chris of Jefferson City, Elizabeth Arango and husband, John of Houston, Texas; two stepchildren Kate Maina and husband, Cris of Washington, D.C., and Nick Krueger of Honolulu, Hawaii; five grandchildren, Stefan Savic, Sofia Savic, Ruby Sprenger, David Arango and Lucia Arango; her siblings, Mary Keeney and husband, Don of Columbia and Thomas Spradling and wife, Diana of Vandalia, and their children.

Gayle is remembered by friends and family alike for her uncensored love of life. Her engaging personality brought joy to many and she will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
