James Robert ‘Bob’Allen

James Robert “Bob” Allen died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019.
Beloved husband of Catherine McKenna-Allen. Dear father of Jeff Allen, step-father of Will McKenna. Dear son of June Allen of Vandalia and the late Richard Allen. Brother of John Allen and wife, Becky, uncle of Justin Allen and wife, Mallory, and Kaitlin Allen. Great-uncle of Jaymeson Allen.
Bob graduated in 1983 from Van-Far High School in Vandalia and graduated in 1987 from Northeast Missouri State University. He was a avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, physical fitness, classic rock, professional football and Cardinals baseball.
Memorial service at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory in Ballwin Saturday at 3 p.m.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday from 1:30-3 p.m.
Bob donated his body to the Washington University School of Medicine, in hopes of helping with future research.
