Silex Hosts Education Commissioner For ‘Read-In’ Day

It is a very exciting day at Silex R-1. The State Commissioner of Education, Dr. Margie Vandeven and State Supervisor, Jay Reese paid a visit. Dr. Vandeven read “Pete the Cat and the Magic Sunglasses” to the kindergarten to celebrate Missouri’s Read-In Day.
