The Case Manager works under the AEL Director. The Case Manager is responsible for orientations to enroll students in classes and to be their liaison to help students find programs in the area that will help them further their educational and career needs. This is a part time position. Candidate will need to be able to meet a flexible schedule to include days and evenings. VAN-FAR R-1 SCHOOL DISTRICT is accepting applications for the following position ADULT EDUCATION & LITERACY (AEL) PROGRAM COORDINATOR. The AEL Program coordinator works under the AEL Director. The Program Coordinator is responsible for supervising adult education programs in a correctional setting, plans staff schedules, supervises staff, organizes data and student progress and ensures quality daily operation of the AEL Program. Qualifications: Comply with Missouri Statute 168.283 that requires successful completion of the FBI fingerprinting criminal record check for search of the criminal history repository and the family care registry of Missouri and federal criminal history file. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Experience in Adult Education is preferred. Candidate will need to be able to meet a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends. Must be able to qualify with the Missouri Department of Corrections to enter into a correctional institution.
