Eastern MO YMCA Seeks Instructors

As construction of the Eastern Missouri Family YMCA progresses, planning for opening the facility is underway. To aid with planning, a job advertisement seeking fitness instructors is included in the Classified ads. Our communities are full of individuals with talents, and the YMCA is beginning to seek individuals with a variety of talents to help build our local YMCA family.

Since the Eastern Missouri Family YMCA will be a branch of the Mexico Area Family YMCA, the Mexico YMCA is sharing its 40-years of experience and is leading planning efforts. At this time, the YMCA is seeking those who are already certified fitness instructors and those who wish to become certified. Earning a fitness certificate requires training and job shadowing with a certified instructor. Fitness instructors are typically part-time positions and an employment start date has not been determined at this time. Completion of the YMCA building is weather dependent, but will be complete in 2018.

If you are interested in joining the YMCA family as a fitness instructor, please contact Executive Director, Lori Brandow at the Mexico YMCA. Lori can be contacted at lori.brandow@mexicoymca.org or 581-1540.

Constructing the YMCA facility and building YMCA staff brings excitement to the area and the project volunteers. This project is an investment in our communities. Please encourage any interested individuals to contact the Mexico YMCA and share the project excitement.
