Darline Elizabeth Frankum

Darline Elizabeth Frankum, 97, of Bowling Green died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana.

As per her wishes, she was cremated and a family graveside service will be held later.

No visitation is planned.

She was born Sept. 7, 1920 in Farber, the daughter of Bass L. and Ora Gibbs Goodin. She married Lloyd Franklin Hanson and to that union, two daughters were born. She later married Ervin Eugene Frankum. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include two children, Janis Elizabeth Hanson of Silex, and Paula Hanson McIlroy and husband, John Jr., of Bowling Green; three great-grandchildren, James Crosby and Tamara Crosby of Dexter, and Blaine Crosby and wife, Megan of Dexter; and their children, Makinley and Matthew.

She was preceded in death by her paernts; two brothers; a grandson, Anthony Luebrecht; and a granddaughter, Teresa Luebrecht Crosby.

Darline was employed for 20 years as a nurse’s aide and medical clerk at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy.

She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Bowling Green.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana.
