Gerald ‘Jerry’ Elliott

Gerald “Jerry” Elliott, 63, of Louisiana died Monday, March 5, 2018.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jerry’s life at the Louisiana Elks on Saturday from 1-3 p.m.

Cremation rites are under the direction of Collier Funeral Homes, Inc. in Louisiana.

Jerry was born Jan. 2, 1955 to Milo and Mary Clavel Elliott at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana.

He is survived by brothers, James “Doc” Elliott and wife, Sue of Bowling Green, Eddie Elliott of Louisiana, and one sister, Phyllis Nelson of Hannibal. He is also survived by a daughter, Michelle Elliott of Riverton, Wyo., and a son, Jeremy Elliott of O’Fallon, and his children’s mother, Janet Grover Elliott. Jerry was a proud grandpa to four grandchildren, Chloe and Harlow Elliott; Rylee Orf and Dani Robertson.

He worked at Louisiana Manufacturing Company for 30 years until they closed their doors. Most recently he worked for Alliance in Bowling Green.

Jerry was a longtime member of the Louisiana Boat Club, as well as a member of the Louisiana Elks. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with friends and family. He will be missed by everyone who had the opportunity to enjoy his laughter, smile, and sense of humor that was one of a kind.
