Catherine A. Collard

Catherine A. Collard, 63, of Bowling Green died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 19 at noon at Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill, Ill., conducted by Pastor Don Hannel. Burial followed at Crescent Heights Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.

Visitation was Saturday from 10 a.m., until time of services at the funeral home.

A dinner for family and friends was held Saturday at 2 p.m., at the Louisiana Elks Lodge in Louisiana.

Catherine was born Sept. 9, 1954 in Louisiana, a daughter of Eugene “Gene” M. and Addie C. Mahoney Wright. She married Ronald E. Collard Jan. 28, 1972 in Pittsfield, Ill. He survives.

Catherine was a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School and had been employed as a secretary.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, crafting, fishing, gardening and just being outdoors.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald E. Collard of Bowling Green, a son, Mike Collard and wife, Rose of Louisiana; a daughter, Michelle Ray of Clarksville; six grandchildren, Ashley and John Ray, Madison and Lane Collard and Katie and Tyler Blackwell; and a brother, Jim Wright of Peoria, Ill.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made to the charity or organization of the donor’s choice.

Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill, Ill., handled the arrangements.
