Heart Of The Legion Awarded

At the July regular meeting of The American Legion Post 370 Clark Pointer, former American Legion State Commander, presented the “Heart of the Legion” award to Rick Henry and Ed Pennington.

Henry, Apple Core Commander, for over 30 years and was awarded a certificate of appreciation.

The Apple Core was nationally recognized and received numerous national and state awards for their drill team performances.

Pennington, Post 370 Commander, during 2017 and 2018 was awarded a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his outstanding service and assistance to Post 370.
