Peggy Sue Peasel Wehmeyer

Peggy Sue Peasel Wehmeyer, 49, of Troy died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018 at her home in Troy.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Millwood with Fr. Charles Tichacek officiating.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Thursday at Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Silex.

Peggy was born Oct. 7, 1968 in Clayton, the daughter of Melvin Joseph and Rita Louise Meuth Peasel. On Oct. 7, 2011 in Hawk Point she married Chuck Allen Wehmeyer. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Paul Martin of Troy, and Jon Martin of Winfield; a daughter, LeeAnne Martin of Hawk Point; one grandson on the way, Vash Kelly; six step-grandchildren; a brother, Frank Peasel of Troy; several cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Peggy lived most of her life in Silex and graduated from Silex High School. After marriage she moved to Hawk Point and has lived in Troy the last five months.

She was a beautician working for many years at Classic Designs and Tanning Spa in Silex and Commercial Apparel in Troy.

Peggy enjoyed fishing, gardening, knitting, taking care of animals and going on little adventures with family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Peasel, Nick Peasel, Donnie Harrell, Crew Hurt, Steve Mudd and Alex Ashby.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
