Albert Martin Kuda Sr.

Albert Martin Kuda, Sr. of Laddonia died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at his home.

No services are planned. Cremation rites were accorded under the direction of Bienhoff Funeral Home.

He was born June 24, 1940 in Audrain County, the son of Adolph and Ida May Hinten Kuda. He was married to Shirley Jean Lynn on May 8, 1968 in Mexico. She preceded him in death Feb. 12, 2018.

Survivors include two sons, Albert Martin (Marty) and Sara Kuda, Jr. and Alan Dale Kuda, both of Laddonia; five brothers, Frank Kuda of St. Louis, David Kuda of Mexico, Bob Kuda of Thompson, Howard Kuda of Laddonia, and Gary Kuda of Vandalia; two sisters, Gail Weedman of Vandalia, and Patti Bishop of Vandalia; two grandchildren, Slade Luna of Mexico, and Bonnie Kuda of Laddonia; and one great grandchild, Paisley Grace Wilson of Vandalia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty May Milohnich.

Mr. Kuda was a lifetime area resident and a 1957 graduate of Community R-VI High School. He then served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.

He was a member of the Laddonia Baptist Church. He was a diesel mechanic and worked at Smith Implement for 12 years and then Sydenstricker Implement for 7 years. He then became a corrections officer at Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center for over 7 years before he retired.

Mr. Kuda enjoyed hunting and working with old tractors and cars.
