Jeffrey Scott Sutton

Jeffrey Scott Sutton, 59, of Vandalia died Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Waters Funeral Home of Vandalia.
Scott’s family will hold a memorial service at a later date in April.
Scott was born in Hannibal Aug. 05, 1959 to Charles Thomas and Ann Bobbeth Welborn Sutton of Vandalia.
Survivors include his son, Christopher Sutton of St. Ann; daughters, Jennifer Sutton of Columbia, and Kaelyn Sutton of Milan; a brother, Patrick Sutton and wife Erin of Jefferson City; five grandchildren and other family and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a graduate from Van-Far High School and was Baptist by faith.
Scott worked as a phone and data contractor for RF Fisher Electrical of Kansas City prior to his retirement. He enjoyed flying remote control helicopters and airplanes, he was an avid lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan. Scott enjoyed gardening and had an extreme love for dogs especially his dog, Jake.
