Elgin Herchel Wells

Elgine Herchel Wells of Pearland, Texas, formerly of Mexico, died at the age of 99.

Private burial will be held with graveside services in Jacksonville, Ill., with Dr. Elgin Wells in charge of arrangements by the Cody Funeral Home.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Elgin Eugene Wells and wife, Carolyn of Pearland, Texas; a host of grandchildren, family and very close nephew, Kyle Jason Fowler of Bowling Green.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Thelma Wells in 1968 and Helen Virginia Wells Aug. 5, 2005.
