Thomas Alan “Tad” Duckworth, 50, of Hannibal, Mo., formerly of Louisiana, Mo., passed away at 3:45 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2012, at his home.
The family will conduct a Celebration of Life Service, at 2 p.m., Sunday, May, 20, at 2012 Orchard Ave., Hannibal. Cremation services have been provided to the family by the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
Mr. Duckworth was born Oct. 17, 1961, in St. Louis, Mo., to Ramone and Patricia Lowe Duckworth.
He was married to Linda Houchins on Oct. 4, 1996, in Louisiana. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Skippy Coffman of Hannibal; three brothers, John Duckworth (Ralph) of California, Steven Duckworth of Florida, Jay Duckworth of New York; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Houchins Meyer of Palmyra, Mo., and Mary Houchins Hopke of Bowling Green, Mo.; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws; one uncle, Al Lowe of Seattle, Wash.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, one nephew, Paul Douglas Meyer; one grandson, Tyrese Coffman; and two brothers-in-law, Pete Meyer and Billy Jack Hopke.
Mr. Duckworth was a graphic artist and a musician. He was an avid and talented chef and animal lover. Tad enjoyed golfing, collecting arrowheads, mushroom hunting and liked keeping up with the world news. He loved playing music, especially blues music and played in several bands. Tad was a Christian by faith.
